1) the cable is very short (I carry the iPod in belt height, cable beneath Shirt "stowed" - Ruckzuck the cable tensioned)!
2.) The ergonomics of the Apple headphones are not very good, so this easily in constant motion fall (at least for my ears)
Some time I used the Philips SHS3200 / 10 Sport headphones. Apart from the higher price at that time and the miserable, tinny sound, the headphones quickly had a disturbing loose connection and the ear clips were totally worn out. Even little sweat seemed that thing pretty quickly add. The 915 fairly good reviews here on Amazon, I certainly can not understand.
Before I get to the JBL headphones, it should be said: correct in-ear headphones that sit deep in the ear canal, do not come to me the way in question, because I also like to want to hear ambient noise for safety reasons.
So now worried and tried the JVC Ear-clip stereo headphones. They make an impression wertigeren than the competition from Phillips, an a nice long cord and the end with the ratchet the port appears have processed my stable and good. The cable could have been a little thicker, but somewhere you pay so less than 10 for the parts and thin cables disappear after all, better under the T-shirt. It is nice that you can adjust the earrings in height so that they better adapt to the respective ear type.
Now for the most important, the sound. I have to admit, I'm not quite so demanding in terms of quality (at least not while jogging), but overall should prevail even decent sound, at least no worse than in the included Apple headphones, so running is also fun. I was rather disappointed at the Philips, I am surprised at the JVC: highs, mids and lows are played good and clean (according to the size of the headphones), here I have nothing to complain about. Definitely better or at least as good as the sound of Apple headphones. Much Bass should not expect, but there are sure no tinny sound.
Conclusion: Ideal for running. The headphones are cheap, are secure, have good sound, are well made and can even ambient noise to - who no On-Ears or real in-ears likes, which is well served here.
