Because this little object is really nice to use. So yes, it was not great battery life (only 6 to 8 minutes, which cost him a star for me) and yes, it requires a minimum of grip to be fully appreciated. It responds very well, both with my iPod au'avec my iPad. The precision of movement and stabilization is questionable at times, especially in a room with many objects. And it should not count take quality photos with the integrated photo sensor. But still, I enjoy flying around in the apartment is hypnotic!
Price is perhaps not the best for what it offers drone. But it represents for me a nice debut drones with a nice product, rather robust and fun to use. And it amuses my 4 year old son ;-)
