I have now range dares me to the cheap Samsung. Why? Because this system camera is similar to operate as an SLR or Bridge, is relatively compact and lightweight, and haptic still quite good in the hand. It also offers an APS-C sensor that promises image quality in SLR level.
Short rough comparison:
While my Fujitsu HS20 offers an enormous 24-720mm telephoto (30x zoom) and a good visual image quality, but is so big and almost as heavy (716 g) as an SLR. In darker environments, from required ISO 400, the image quality is due to Figures 1/2-inch sensor partly quite bad and the electronic viewfinder is only for emergencies. But it has a brilliant swivel display. The Fuji is perfect for macro and tele-nature shots.
The Canon 550D is also big and heavy (730 grams), but has a much better optical viewfinder and a subjectively slightly better image quality than the Samsung, but the Canon is also a good bit more expensive, however. This camera was so far my "quality" camera for indoor shots -or events, but was awarded the accessories (2.Objektiv + flash) a little too bulky for me go.
All cameras have their systemic advantages and disadvantages. The range of functions is again quite similar in all three cameras.
For Samsung:
Yes, the camera looks like a "little too hot washed" SLR, since that will be invisible to the mirror mechanism, the camera is significantly narrower. Of course, this also makes the resulting lower weight (609 g) noticeably advantageous. For many large hand but their dimensions are in turn possibly borderline. (This is in many other system cameras but even more serious, the trend of its dimensions often again towards compact format)
Basically, the Samsung camera is built visually dibasic. There is also no loose rubber covers, but real little plastic flaps for situated therebelow ports (HDMI, USB, power, etc.).
The provided with a diopter adjustment electronic viewfinder turns on automatically and is qualitatively ok. One can thus identify the motive. With an optical SLR viewfinder, however, has nothing at all in common. But after a seeker is present!
The 3 inch OLED TFT display is not pivotable, but has a good resolution and sufficient technique requires even in sunlight and oblique angles even from (otherwise the elec. Viewfinder comes into play).
With the 18-55mm kit lens I succeed in daylight very good photos. Also is the important to me, dimly lit area, now up to ISO 400/800, even without the use of integr. Flash pretty noise mapped. The whole thing is, of course, image stabilized noticeably, if enabled! Snapshots succeed in bright light, low light the AF sometimes has problems and needs a little longer.
Many scene modes complement the photographic opportunities (sports, portrait, night, fireworks, etc.). Of course there is also the possibility of different automatic, semi-automatic and a fully manual mode to use in order to set the exposure, aperture, ISO, white balance, and the same can separately. The settings can be selected quickly on the scene switches and lens bezel or on the lens attached to the i-Fn button. An HD-ready video function is also on board, and is sufficient for a short clip (with slow camera movements) qualitatively quite.
My overall impression:
With this Samsung NX 11 with 14.6 Mpixels APS-C sensor and 18-55mm kit lens is obtained a solid system camera APS-C class. Price-performance speak for themselves and make up from the well of SLR beginners class. The kit lens is also on entry-level (distortions can be seen), but nevertheless it is much better than some "compact lens". The camera provides the way the menu to a distortion correction.
I highly recommend this system camera for the price-conscious ambitious amateur photographers. This gives here the good picture quality and feel, which could only be attributed to the much more expensive devices of SLR-class a few years ago. Some upgrade kits when it comes to filters, lenses and flash accessories are also nachzukaufen (of course not in the variety of Canon or Niko class) and one can thereby optimize image quality. The camera is characterized by their relatively small dimensions very "easy to transport" and has much less to haul than with the big SLR cutlery. Even though so many well-known (yet) tired smiles with his Canon or Nikon camera via the System class, is then but amazed at the latest at the next outdoor use and image evaluation sometimes. Granted, but whoever images from ISO 1600 noise is needed or in the images over 100% pure zooms around at cutting processing, the size of the "grain" (noise) must be kept low, will certainly need a different model from a much higher price category ...
Conclusion:
Good quality / price in the system camera class with APS-C sensor. 4 stars. (I like it)

Addendum on 13/09/2014:
The camera has proven itself in everyday life. The images are consistently good to very good! The built-in flash I supplemented by the swiveling Samsung SEF-20A. As the price of the NX-11 now stops dropping, I would recommend the follow fashions NX-20 and even times keep an eye on the NX-30 model as an alternative. Priced models, the NX11 / NX20 distinction hardly or are not as extreme for NX30 model, but the technology has become much more advanced!
