Software:
You have to load the software from the manufacturers website first. There she is for WIN, Mac and Linux operating systems available. I have only tested the version for Mac OS X 10.8.
FB Codes learn:
After installing the software infected USB dongle, select the desired keyboard layout (in my case, for XBMC) and away you go, the transfer Stick desired FB codes in the USB.
I chose a leftover FB a Dreambox, I've also heir keyboard codes for the volume.
Problems:
... There was me, in fact. The Teaching the FB codes failed initially to scattered light from the lighting desk. Apparently the built sensor is very sensitive and so learned my ambient light as UP button. Until I came back there, it took a moment .... only when you click the Münüauswahl wandered the cursor continuously upwards as it became clear to me. Remedy I managed, as I abschattete the USB dongle against external scattered light, so that it only receives pure FB Code. Here helps a simple structure made of cardboard, or anything a little "shade".
Operating on Raspberry Pi with XBMC:
Infected, booted and is good. All semiskilled codes work properly and I'm happy with the result.
The star's withdrawal for the over-sensitive sensor, probably one or the other forces during the initial commissioning the task.
