AKG K518LE from the perspective of a layman

For years I had AKG headphones that were to wear electronic waste and with whom I was very pleased.
After that I tried Apple, Philips, Samsung & Co. from, everything went fairly quickly broken (that is of course only an extreme case and should not be cited as representative of these brands).

In this model trumps especially sound quality and compelling price-performance ratio. I have not much idea of ​​headphones, but this one made me very of the bass and the sound generally enthusiastic and probably some of the best DJ or OnEar headphones for less than 100. Electronic Music can the K518 for its price range to impart good.

However, I had now been several K518 - and they are all broke down after a few months to a cable break. That's not so bad, because they can be send back thanks to the guarantee, if there is a defect. But is annoying and makes sure that you will be without a few days on the headset when you do not want to whip out his wallet again.

All manageable, albeit marginally. Up to this point I would give 4 stars. But now, the phenomenon of comfort for people like me is unacceptable. Because of my extensive head the insufficiently adjustable headphones provide after a few minutes of pain to the ears and the head. People who therefore perceive their heads as above average, should not access here, no matter how good the sound quality as Amazon reviewers is also felt.

The price / performance ratio is just like the sound quality super.
The sound quality convinced me, also because I like Bass, Electro and Hip Hop, these headphones are ideal in my opinion.
Unfortunately press after calming time the head and pain special people with large heads, to which I also belong.
Due to the high susceptibility to cable breaks only three stars.
