Since today I am, because of the good critiques and reviews, proud owner of the 'Fritec Ladeprofi Vario', an all-round device, which meets all the requirements of today's battery technology meet loud advertising. Stutzig but made me a supplement to delivery. There was written that Fritec, as exclusive worldwide supplier, BMW manufactures battery chargers, which can be bought only at the friendly BMW Motorrad dealer. A call to Fritec revealed that BMW chargers have a different firmware / software and to thereby protect the on-board electronics of the BMW motorcycle. In addition, the switches 'Fritec Ladeprofi Vario' on a BMW motorcycle well from time to time from, so the owner might believe that charger would be defective. The device is thus for BMW motorcycles, according to information Fritec from 2004, not to use. Unfortunately, I have the same 2 BMW motorcycles ..... 3 stars for me there is not for the product (this I can not use yes), but for the defective product description and the trouble I have now. A normal return is not possible, since it will be shipped on the Amazon Marketplace. I do not hope that my thereof not threatened further trouble. All those interested in the product BMW bikers this may perhaps serve as an important information.
Update, 2 hours later: Just called me the CEO of Fritec to discuss the rescission. In addition, description of the product has been supplemented with the enstprechenen Note for BMW motorcycles. Now that is used! So now but 5 star and you'll be fine.
