Casio's only currently available three-hand watch in the above material selection. The other models in the range have only one Lord brass housing and mineral glass. Nowadays it is not easy to find a classically designed three-hand watch that is not too bulky on the dimensions. Because the times of men's watches with 34-37 mm diameter are at least since the early nineties only relic. Not so with Seiko - and even at Casio, at least not in the presented clock BEM-111D-1AVEF and the highest Material selection for housing, tape and glass (among non-precious metals). Because Casio has some three-hand watches in the current (2014/15) range, but all have only one chromed brass housing and mineral glass. This clock so here's one of the rare exceptions: Material: stainless steel case, stainless steel bracelet (folded), sapphire crystal, 50m waterproof (!). For quality / feel: The build quality is good, the feel of case and band also. The stainless steel band is one of those rattling bands that Casio built for 30 years. You have to like, I like it. To shorten you need watchmaker tools, simply hammer out the pin in direction of the arrow, you can already see elements. On my wrist 17,5er 4 limbs had to be removed. The closure of the clock has a Trisnap mechanism with two lateral pushers, so he does not open accidentally. The special feature: The entire steel band is massive, not folded as with other watches.
Conclusion: A beautiful classic Dress Watch, of which there are the middle / end of the eighties was in this quality at Casio more. Today this is the only clock in the range in complete stainless steel with sapphire crystal (with the exception of some Edifice models) and thus even a small special feature of Casio, who are better known for their chromed resin models. The clock has since early 2007 in the range and no retro product but in the regular Lord Collection.
