The Mike Rosenberg, born in England and living in Australia is certainly not a pretty boy, but that seems almost anyone discourage them to like him. Perhaps quite the opposite? This man is so average as we all; with the difference that it has a very unique voice and wonderfully clear, simple but deeply touching songs such as "All The Little Lights", "Circles", "Feather On The Clyde," "Things That Stop You Dreaming" "Holes" or even is "Let Her Go" to write capable. It is worthwhile to read the texts and to translate.
After a disc with the band Passenger (WICKED MAN'S REST) in 2007 made Rosenberg self-employed, toured as a street musician around the world, published from 2009 under the old name almost unnoticed three more albums - and then came this one song, everything for changed him: "Let Her Go".
His lyrics are human, unencrypted, melancholy, sad, sometimes funny. He describes what he does as follows: 'I guess you Could Say its folk-based. Its simply a solo guitar with vocals. The music I write is very lyrically arranging from trying to be funny to very sad kind of song '.
That's the way it is. And why should one say more? This album speaks for itself anyway.
'We are born with a million little lights that glow in the dark / And they show us the way / Every time we feel love in our hearts, will light a / And one dies when love goes' ("All The Little Lights ").
