The Flexi-leash solves these problems. The dog has his clearance, the line is not in the dirt and I'm good "steer and stop" the dog. Do I need to take him once briefly, I grab the piece shortly before the carabiner, and hold him to it. It is sometimes even before that I have to pull him on this piece against his will continue, that this part of the line has to withstand a lot.
Despite repeated heavy use, frequent pulling and jerking (also at full speed), the line has always withstood. Even maximum "extended" it has not let me down and prevents my dog chasing or could other dogs loose. His posturing and counter caulking keeps them from easy and I am fully satisfied.
I would like to highlight the positive nor the robustness of the case. It fell down on many occasions or my dog hinterhergesaust when I was not paying attention. However, no functional damage has occurred.
In the preceding line that has held for several years, the retracting function is eventually broke down. But I think that's due to the high stress.
