I have the system a few days associated with happiness in my home.

I myself have connected the system to a TV via optical digital input. Source devices connected via HDMI to the TV and this sharpens the sound by then and outputs it to the Z906 on. The direct route from the setter for Z906 had a slight tone asynchrony result, but what I put on the TV with me.
Depending on leaked material the system automatically switches the correct configuration. Dolby Digital sound (digital TV channels) are each in stereo 'unless the aperture is surround sound. A switching means of the effect key is not possible in this case.
All in all I am very satisfied with the performance offered. The signals come clearly from all speakers and the bass can be controlled even in 'hostile neighbors' heights or rather depths. All in all an interesting and coherent system which as an intermediate to higher-priced devices safe has its raison d'être.
Whether the THX certification has a particular significance, I can not judge. Certainly one can argue about which is here not to be part of the review but.
