Did this adapter on MacBook Pro to drive a 5.1-conditioning use.
In the small print, only on the manufacturer / sales page, then stands but that goes on OSX only 2 channel stereo.
Well, my 5.1 system (devil) now knows a 2 channel mode in order so you can control all your boxes. So I made everything good.
Next hurdle is then but the sound that can only be set in iTunes on de equalizer, unfortunately, not system-wide. Is indeed a software from Apple for developers is to afford this, but do not ensure. It is recommended that a Software Names Hear acquire, with which you can then adjust the sound really well.

As a result: Bargain part, with some software commitment is also a really good 2-channel sound, but not really a 5.1.
The only thing that is not so nice is the blue LED blinking, here's needs a little plastic ......
