As Windows users-established and given the prices but I could not to overcome Apple to push my money in the ass.
Then Amazon came Christmas offers, this notebook was again reduced by anyway super low price to 100, I then did not think twice.
I have the notebook still as follows upgraded:
- 4 GB RAM tie against 8GB exchanged, makes 16 GB
- 1 TB HDD exchanged for 250 GB SSD
- Intel 7260-AC WiFi adapter concerned (not as simple as a new M.2 PCIe card format)
Update the WLAN:
You need an Intel WiFi-AC 7260 in M.2 design I've found these on ebay US and have it sent to me.
The BIOS of the notebook has a so-called. Whitelist for wireless modules, ie only work certain shared Lenovo wireless adapter.
This can unfortunately only deal through a BIOS modification, the Forum [...] you will find instructions to do so.
Lenovo has explained to me on my request that would not be provided for upgrading the consumer notebooks, but I know from personal experience that even higher-quality models have these limitations.
You've got a laptop which a MacBook Pro 15 "Retina in anything other than the Mac OS X but inferior to that must indeed be a disadvantage), the display also triggers even higher, and the graphics card provides more power.
The display is super sharp, only Windows is lagging in the current development unfortunately miles behind, many older programs exclusively enlarge the text, this looks very funny.
Unfortunately, my display shows in the upper right corner of the image showing through the backlight (screen Bleeding) but that does only very dark images and often one finds there anyway the close button.
Unfortunately, it has not done in Adobe Photoshop installed scaling for high-resolution displays can therefore been completely forgotten the use of Photoshop, I hope there is happening something.
All in all I am very satisfied with the device, who cares:
One can have a touchpad ASUS use (as the producers of the same is Elantech) whose settings say more to me than the Lenovo.
