Here in the reviews is often criticized that the distances to the Abbiegepfeilen not correct .... and therefore the Navi would be useless .....
Criticism regarding the distances above true, unfortunately ..... as a reference point for the distance to the intersection of the two road axes is apparently taken .... Especially with multi-track crossings, the distance information thus lags significantly behind in part ....
.... This is for me the Navi but not unusable. The voice prompts come to me in time and detaillert, eg:. "At the traffic lights turn left" and together with a view to the map display you should m. E. actually go nowhere turnoff ..... but that's just my personal opinion .... :-)
The quality of traffic messages via DAB + I could not really test, but the traffic was too relaxed with my rides .... In Hamburg, however, were a permanent road closure (Ohlsdorfer road towards winter Marktplatz) and the construction site on the A7 (Langenfeld bridge ) displayed ....
The map display Personally I like very well ... It is possible to display additional information, particularly helpful I find POIs along the route (eg. Gas stations, restaurants, Blitzer), as well as the traffic situation can be displayed ....
The unit makes, I think, a very high-quality impression (housing, display). The touchscreen responds very well to the inputs. The announcements are easy to understand. The disc holder is ok but there are better solutions.
Commissioning was straightforward. Card and firmware update via Garmin Express worked well ....
The built-in speed Warner, I disabled as no warning threshold (eg: ± 5 km / h in town, + 10 km / h on highways / motorways) is adjustable ....
Overall, I can personally recommend buying .... Due to the aforementioned weaknesses (the lag distance information / speed alert) there is of me but only ****
