-Amazon Fire TV Stick

Packing:
The stick is delivered in a small box. On this some apps are already displayed, the support of the stick. The package includes in addition to the highlight, the stick also a small remote control, extra batteries, an HDMI Extender, and a power cord. The box is visually very appealing.

Connection:
The stick is simply plugged into an available HDMI socket in the TV. Amazon recommends here to use the Extender, because the Wi-Fi signal strength is improved. Since my TV anyway hanging on the wall and the HDMI port is back, of course I have used the extender. (Very good, that he is present in the package.)
The Embroiderer even a small mini USB port is available, which is used for power supply. This I put into the USB port of my TV. Unfortunately, the power was not enough. (You will see a message that the USB port would not be enough.) So I had to put in a socket the cable. When Google Chrome Cast connect to the USB port worked perfectly. That does not work here is probably because that the stick Amazon probably has a lot more to offer and also a memory of about 8GB for apps and games is available. The Google Chrome Cast stick are for only reflect what is being sent from the PC, tablet or smartphone to the stick. (Transfer).

I have to stick a few days now in operation and use it very much. In conjunction with Amazon Prime Instant Video and of course that is optimal. But the apps and games I use a lot. With the remote control, although it is a bit strange, but it is sufficient for occasional pastime. The game controller I'm going to possibly even buy it. The Chromecast stick is considerably reduced here. Everything has to be controlled by smartphone or tablet from. Conclusion: I am personally very pleased with the stick and can really recommend it to anyone. Not even Amazon Prime customers will benefit because the selection is really huge on Apps. I'm also assuming that the number will rise to apps every day and you can take advantage of many new apps on the Fire-TV-Stick soon. So for me perfectly and a real alternative to Apple TV, and other Android Chromecast boxes. And most importantly, a good alternative to but almost 60 euros more expensive Fire-TV box.

Negative I could not tell. I'm with the stick so far very satisfied and think the price of regular 39 Euro fine. The Chromecast is no alternative, because it by no means can what the Fire TV Stick provides for me.
