The John Smith's story is striking, despite some downtime. It's pretty well written, a very easy to understand English (written text to present), with all the tics of spoken American language .... The last hundred pages, however, become more difficult. According to critics, it's the same thing with the same French translation. The actions are connected, the revelations, the tragic passages ... I will not say more not to spoil the reading. But ultimately, the rest of the book, it does not happen much. the idyllic love between the main character and Sarah (they spend their time kissing) becomes annoying after a while. The small miseries of the school, the flashbacks ... very nasty villains who kill everyone, pollute, live in large cities (why is it necessary to speak of pollution everywhere?), The Loriens very nice, on a green planet and killed by the wicked flourishing ...
In short, it's quite nice, but nothing more. yet entertaining book but far renew the genre.
