I enjoyed more the story in "Fifty Shades of Grey". Early in the novel, we find a Ana heartbroken. She left Christian and can not recover. Soon he recontacted the and promises to invest in a relationship "normal". The novel is centered on the romance between Anastasia and Christian. The secondary characters are not very important and almost all the scenes take place between the two lovers. While more than half of the novel, they learn to know themselves, all in a very romantic atmosphere. The sex scenes are much softer and sensual than the first volume. Christian never wants to hurt Ana and refuses throughout a time of enmener again in the Red Chamber.
The character of Ana was moderately pleased me in Volume 1 (except late or I am making me really appreciate it) but it has evolved tremendously in this second volume. She had missed me, I admit. I was thrilled to find her, her conscience and her inner goddess. Anastasia is much more mature and more assertive even with Christian. She is no longer afraid of him, it is no longer his subject but his girlfriend and it changes its personality. I am very satisfied with this transformation. We identify much to Ana now. She is strong, much more than we imagined when we met him in "Fifty Shades of Grey".
Christian ... ah Christian Grey. In Volume 1, I did not particularly a fan of the character before the end of the novel. I had found too authoritarian. In "Fifty darker shades", we discover a new aspect of his personality. Christian is a player, funny, protector and can be very tender. It opens gently Ana although he still scared her to take it off his legs. Christian love is a delight and I am delighted with the evolution of his character.
I had struggled with the style of the author in "Fifty Shades of Grey" but in this second volume, I found that there were far fewer repetitions and awkward phrases. Maybe I'm simply got used to his pen or maybe I was too immersed in the novel to pay attention to it, but in any case, the writing did not bother me this time.
In short, "Fifty darker shades" is a huge favorite. If you liked the first, you will devour this second opus. It is intense, passionate and horribly addictive. I await the third and final volume impatiently. Highly February!
