I own the KM45 now for several weeks. A great camera! I had read the Melitta E 901 MyCup Maker coffee pad silver / black and the Philips HD7830 / 50 Senseo New Generation coffee machine silver / metallic. Both devices have "disposed of" 45.00 coffee pod machine after the acquisition of Petra KM. They did not offer what the KM45 does. Technically identical to the taste! "Crema"? More is not possible! Those who want even more "sparkling" in the cup, should be before something (condensation) milk in the cup, but please only 1-2 splashes. Then "creaming" it like a good draft beer. To keep the foam not in the machine, but in the cup, the cup should (with a simple coffee) have a minimum volume of 220ml! The possibilities of the machine are diverse, as are the displays (manual read carefully). Who can do without a fully automated system with digital display and annual (special) cleaning, is well served by the Petra KM45. By the way: You can also use normal coffee powder. A powder cartridge with 100 sheets of filter paper is supplied. Who has depleted the (expensive) filter paper can be made of inexpensive filter bags matching cut slices ;-). I really recommend the Petra chlorine filter ACF30 3x activated carbon filter f. KM 23, KM 24, KM 28, KM 49. They improve the taste noticeably. But above all: the taste (of course depending on the pads) is excellent. Therefore, 5 star for the product.
