For many fanatics of Heinz Rudolf Kunze was the announcement that Heiner Lürig would have pulled back from the cooperation with HRK a big disappointment. Was he really a supporting sentries for the success and the particularity of one of the largest German rockers.
Although tailwind was not a bad album, but the procedure to adhere together many works of different composers reluctant my gut feeling. It was new, it was not bad, but also not an original. That was with this album - literally - different.

Another record company (formerly WEA, now BMG), which does not participate in the copy-nonsense, the band occupation of tailwind and just dazugeörende Heiner Lürig. The title "The original" jumps one straight to the head.

Already after the first listen you realize that Heiner Lürig is back. The album seems more at one with itself, although composed not only HRK or Lürig here. Leo Schmidthals (Bass / Blessed) and Matthias Ulmuer (Keyboard) also control for songs that fit into the concept: rock, blues, ballads - not too hard but impulsive.
The album will be initiated and terminated by "I'm always there for you". The first version in rockier, the second in a peaceful and compassionate nature. With "more than" a typical Lürig song is represented, which is also the official song for the Evangelical Church in 2005. Furthermore sting for me, "My true colors", "K." (An allusion to those names Kunze)? and "The Truth of the last shirt" out.

An album, as it could no longer be original Kunze. Not necessarily new, but an "original Good" I forgive without batting an eyelid.
