Another compilation of synth-pop / new wave underground, yes, but still a good

There are countless compilations devoted to fruitful and exciting time of the turn of the 70 and 80. It was the birthplace of much of the current music or at least that which it is based: post-punk, cold wave , new wave, synth-pop, no wave and all hybrids.
This compilation, synth-pop and cold wave, ie pieces synthetic pop to minimal instrumentation (ie the early 80s, here 80 to 86), is a good complement to "The Minimal Wave tapes vol.1" (also released in 2010). The selection made here, however, differs from what is known elsewhere. Only the eternal "Polaroid / Roman / Photo" Ruth is found here as on many compilations, the risk of making a cliché and tiresome refrain (although "eternal" I wrote ...). Most other artists are unknown or almost. And we wonder why: many of them evoke known pieces of this period, a tone, an atmosphere, a rhythm, and recall eg MDGs or Facial and even Kraftwerk. They could easily have been for them or with them on the air and the decks if the intricacies of public access had decided otherwise. Their quality is remarkable.
And we do not make fun of us because the disk is full and remastered songs to perfection. Unfortunately the booklet is in English.
