The Chicago Stars, Volume 3: The one I chose (Paperback)

Customer Review

In life, the strengths of some can become the worst things for others. Jane Darlington knows something. Dun dune with intelligence and IQ outsized life entries that difference, rejection, ridicule, isolation and denial Yep! This is not because quon is a little genius that life inevitably smiles (miss more than that).
Arrival at 34, Jane has a feeling of great emptiness in his life and only the arrival of a child could manage to fill it. Despite the serious story of love only what was, Jane is a woman very ill at ease with this intelligence what door as a burden. So, determined to get to a baby she will select the sample that represents absolute lantithèse what this is, in the person of Cal Bonner, the star of the Chicago Stars aging with its 36 years on the clock (yes, I know 36 years it hurts me too) and whose appearances prove each time this single from the depths of lAmérique octopus is closer than genius! This is perfect for Jane, and by a very unconventional way, she will have collared the guy and what she wants! But that warrior footballer hides his game
Again in September transports us into the universe of the team of the Chicago Stars, this time with the beautiful and "old" (36 years old !!! soon walker) Cal Bonner who saw his career take late mopes and rage bubbling in seeing the young and dashing Kevin Tucker destined to take its place WHEN IT can no longer physically secured his position in the team.
At first you might want to hate the hero between himself in the power of the age bimbos attracted only by the size of their brains is diametrically opposed to that of their chest, and she crying about his genius condition (ah bah it pays to be brainless this is well known u_u !!) and overnight turns frigid old girl hottie ready to senvoyer in the air with the first comer at risk of being a woman of easy virtue.
Although I found Jane repeatedly idiot despite its oversized IQ, i still managed to mattacher to it. She will discover throughout history and assert increasingly at the expense of his character Cal dailleurs will suffer the consequences.
And this is also why many jaime this series because I adore the beaks taken between heroes, feelings between hatred and love that destabilize long time and their ability to make life hell for the other !! Here, SEP offers us a lot dexcellentes "scenes of households" and moments loads of fun !!! Lauteure has more talent to lead us towards a scene whose fall will make us laugh out loud without quon sy wait. A treat!
It was another nice surprise that this volume 3. This series moffre always a great time playing with funny stories, passionate, poignant and sensual.
The only complaint jaurais to do this is that this volume lacks some sensual scenes. Apart from a few scenes, my faith still very friendly, most are only suggested and the physical connection between the hero seems logical that more irresistible. Too bad.
But this story also has a deeper dimension. That of seeing the scrolled years without having been able to do what one wanted to see the future or as a black hole. Our two heroes are at a crossroads in their lives when the questions and anxieties weigh. But, as always love is often the solution to everything! This approach is also seen in the difficult relationship that Cal's parents live and that affects us. They too are victims of passing time and regret about their aspirations. Cal is going to see his parents gradually move away apart from one another and are no longer able to support what they become by the "fault" of the other. A nice side story very moving.
As I said it is regrettable how little naughty scenes, but the end is so touching, so moving and beautiful as lon quickly forgive the lack of thrills during playback, because in the last pages all the butterflies remained caged fault hot scenes of a sudden end up in your stomach to your greatest emotion!
I hope that Volume 4 mapportera the same lot of emotions with a little more sensual touch!
