Live at the Cellar Door (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Now here is another document from Neil Young, Archive` treasure box!

We are off when shooting in 1970, when Neil Young in, The Cellar Door` (a trendy basement club in Washington, DC) in November and December of that year had some live performances. The performances took place shortly after the release of, After the Gold Rush`, one of, Klassiker` of Neil Young.

This live album contains 13 live recordings with Neil Young on the acoustic guitar and the piano - some live songs were recently published in the only recently, after the Gold Rush` ("Tell Me Why", "Only Love Can Break Your Heart "," Birds "," Do not Let It Bring You Down "," After the Gold Rush "), from which a year older than` Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere "(" Cinnamon Girl "," Down By The River " ) and pieces of Buffalo Springfield ("Expecting To Fly", "I Am A Child" and "Flying On The Ground Is Wrong"). Features of this publication are (quote the record company) early, uncut performances of "Bad Fog Of Loneliness" (published in 2007 on "Live At Massey Hall '71") and "Old Man" (published in 1972 on the "Harvest" album).

Every Neil Young fan will surely inspire these live recordings and they are taken up with joy in the music collection. Neil Young proves with this record once again that he is a genius live and could enchant his audience at any time (and still can).

Since I am already looking forward to more sequels ...
