Nevertheless, they can be opened very quickly, so you can replace the shoulder part with longer photo shoots to him not to have constantly in the way. If you like, the two tethers can then still stuck together to a hand strap, I myself do not do that.
What was important to me (and apparently met a few other neoprene belts): The belt is so long that I can wrap it around your neck and carry the camera loose at the hip in its maximum adjustable length. This reduces the risk of theft, and especially I have sufficient scope to have the camera ready to shoot quickly with good motives, without having to remove the belt only.
Another small plus: The belt is plain black without any lettering. So I'm not changing Nikon advertising more ...
