What is unfortunately not described is the ominous sync button, it offers three modes: LED off-blue-orange.
In one test, I've found that this probably is the synchronization with the PC.
If the LED is "off", the box will always stay on and does not shut down the PC.
In the "Blue" She runs down but no longer works with the PC.
And at "Orange" everything goes fully automatic and the box goes with the PC on / off and moreover in a standby when not in use, this will light the power LED is no longer blue but also orange.
The drives remain well visible and when accessing a disk drive it automatically moves back up.

This setting I used and it works quite well with a small snag that they quite long does until the drives are available (about 30 sec.) But that depends also determined by the installed drives off.

The data rates are typical USB3.0 (eSata I have not even tried because of the known difficulties with Port Multiplier) and nothing to complain about.

The defective power supply I naturally can not be included in the assessment because then it has only times nothing to do with the function and performance of the product. (Well with the function then however already that can happen and yes You know what I mean ... ;-))
