Nutritional information:
Since I mainly use it as a pre-workout (half a can, ie 50g), the nutritional values also play a role (per 100g - rounded):
> 545 kcal
> 35g fat (22g unsaturated.)
> 42g carbohydrate (35g sugars)
> 10g fiber
> 10g protein
> 200mg caffeine
Some calories comparable to any other chocolate. Fat is slightly higher than normal (whole milk) chocolate, but sugar is low and the fiber higher. Also protein is more in it compared to normal chocolate.
200mg of caffeine equivalent to 2.5 x 250ml cans compared (1ne can has an average of 80mg).
Taste:
Since I'm not a coffee drinker and actually ate only milk chocolate, I was at first skeptical about the taste. Scho-Ka-Kola tastes like normal dark chocolate blended with coffee, both flavors are fairly well balanced with regard to the intensity.
The taste I am convinced of Scho-Ka-Kola!
Effect:
1.6% + 2.6% Kolanusspulver coffee per 100g
The chocolate makes for a comfortable energy level, but without triggering a "Kick", as one might know from the use of multiple doses of energy drinks. For me, just the thing (as I said I'll take a maximum of 50g per training on, not specified how it is at an increased consumption).
Conclusion:
Am passionate about Scho-Ka-Kola, it can only recommend it to anyone!
Affects right before training or the working day following a short night;)
Will try as appropriate opportunities arise, perhaps even kola nut powder in pure form ...
