As a replacement for Apple TV is the perfect choice (for me)

Since I am Amazon Prime customer, I had the great fortune to be able to acquire the FireTV stick for 19 commercially. For this purpose then the Amazon plus: delivery on time one day earlier than announced! For direct an extra point.

So what is all included? Of course the FireTV stick together with its own remote control. Please note: This is not the identical to FireTV. Here the microphone intrigued missing.
Furthermore, praiseworthy manner are enclosed 2 batteries for the remote control. Also there for an extra point. Incidentally, that's inserting the batteries really a drawback in this product. I had briefly to break fear the remote control into a thousand pieces!
Furthermore is included with an HDMI adapter, absolutely terrific in my opinion! The included Micro USB cable might be an idea too long, but here you have to say: Better too long than too short. The included power supply, I will not use my TV as several USB ports are available has.
Of course, various instructions are enclosed, but who reads ...

So in the end: 5 stars for the whole delivery and the fast delivery on the part of Amazon.

What I have personally purchased the FireTV Stick? Very easily. I wanted to replace my be anywhere in the AppleTV 2. Not necessarily because I was not satisfied with the performance offered, okay, the resolution only 720P is now out of date, but in the end I wanted the box simply no longer see.
So FireTV Stick turned off in the TV and in the WLAN and run. What can you say !? My standard applications such as Netflix / Amazon Prime, etc. run smoothly and without problems.
But where is the Watch app ... Ever? I do not think, unfortunately, but my good SmartTV has thus the app is neglecting this. And now the supreme discipline: Kodi or XBMC. This can be accessed directly Kodi from the home page I recommend Llama and IkonoTV :)
Installed by sideload and behold: It runs like clockwork! Access to my native NAS without problems possible! He plays pretty much all I have to file formats on my NAS from! For this alone is 5 star!
I have made it this far the stick to bring to its limits or jerky the UI? Not a bit!

All in all for the price of 19 called an absolute blast! Would I buy it again !? Yes of course! The FireTV Stick has my Apple TV 2 completely detached and frankly I miss in this case, nothing! Even for the nearly 40 it's still a great deal!
