As an inexpensive emergency solution in conjunction with Fritz box 5140

I have the modem as a workaround with a Fritz box 5140 (available for 1 on Ebay, but no longer works! With the new DSL standard Annex J), to possibly come with a loss of my new Fritzbox 7490 nor the Internet and to be able to make calls.

The combination has a trial basis in top working condition, so I look forward to the next thunderstorm relaxed.

One has to be aware that the account information for the Internet and for telephony is not in Allnet modem itself can be entered, but in the Fritz box connected to it via a network cable.

In modem itself no configuration is required.

Of course, in the Fritzbox the built DSL modem must be shut down in the menu.
(Select in the menu under "Internet", the "Internet access via LAN 1" option.)
