CPU only a Snapdragon 800 Current Android flagships have 801 installed and the older 800s with higher clock. Now one might of course argue about the benefits of a 801. But a flagship should also have the latest hardware.
Nevertheless, the device is in normal operation noticeably faster than the 920s. Worlds are not intervening, but you know it already.
Despite this power, the device is slowly waking up. Compared to the 920s marked difference. Almost twice as slow. Whether that can be improved through software, I do not know. Perhaps it is also on display. The 920s is by the way even faster than the iPhone 5s)
~~ ~~ Camera
20MP PureView sounds pretty se. But in direct comparison to 920s the photos do not really see better, if you do not use the digital zoom. If one uses this, of course, the higher resolution come to fruition. But the "normal" hand the difference is rather small. In direct comparison to 1520 images look even worse: Not quite so many Detials and the colors do not (but is probably more a matter of the software). But for this comparison I can personally say anything because I did not own geteset. For best times to look at pocketpc.ch.
~~ Housing / processing ~~
At first I was afraid that the sharp edges are a huge disadvantage. During the 920s side is rounded and is therefore super comfortable to hold. My fear was not confirmed: Before long, I got used to it and it feels great in your hand. The processing was relatively okay with me. It creaked in some places on some models a bit. War but to get over. Worse I find the gap between the back plate and the aluminum frame. These are almost perfect with some device, other 1mm wide. As will certainly accumulate over time dust, which then looks ugly.
The device itself has almost the same extent as the 920s. It is above all a little bit higher, but is hardly noticeable. In my opinion, the unit has the perfect size.
~~ ~~ Display
So we come to the display. Short Prefer erleutern why I give only 1 star despite the relatively positive assessment to give. The display is in my opinion at the heart of a smartphone. On just about every possible way how to interact with your phone, you use the display.
So we come to the only positive: the display is the correct size, has a 1080p resolution and the black is really black, thanks to OLED. In addition, the display seems to have a different coating. I conclude that the finger glides across the screen better than the 920s. I find very pleasant.
And now the disadvantages which make the device unusable for me really:
-Yeah, It is 1080p, but Pentile. Whether one now looks now as strong or not, I leave undecided for now.
Display is slow: Scripture entails. Especially bad it looks in the "Settings", as there is white lettering on a white background. Even on the home screen, the tightening is also clearly visible and partially changed during movement even the colors. That is a clear step backwards for 920s at a very slow response time of the display. Although the two have the same Bildwiederholgsrate of 60Hz. But this does not help, if the reaction time to bering it. Above all, I find it very annoying that they have touted it when 920s relatively full-bodied, and how great is this WP (which it really is) and then the successor leave the way?
-The Next item is almost worse: It seems as if the screen dirty, smudged. Only that's not on the top layer, you could make yourself clean, it seems to be among them. Depending on the image being content find it more or less strong. It is difficult to describe this error. It is as if the green eg not homogeneous but has areas where it is dark. Only slightly, but it is recognizable. As you move the screen moves this pattern with (the darker pixels). For a "high end" device albosult embarrassing and an absolute no go!
-according AreaMobile the display is not uniform "enlightened" (in "" because the pixels in OLED itself off). Quote: "In the lower third of the screen we measured around 320 Candela, at the top only about 290 candela" Source: [...]
In general, about the device yet to say that it is the Lumia Icon from the United States, in principle, which was released on 20 February. The camera is far as I know that is from 1520 which the December-2013. The tightening was clear on all devices. The Schlieren / darker pixels were also observed in all devices, however, the hardness fluctuated this error from device to device. But for me always recognizable. And when I saw even that, I respect it unfortunately :(

Would be for me but not as bad as the problem is probably resolved eventually.
The last unit I received from the current media market action is 395 and I did it because of the display in spite of this good rate again returned. This really annoys me very much because I wanted the machine really have and I wanted to find great, but it just did not work out.
