The Glendronach is a whiskey that stands out especially by its intense sherry notes of the crowd. On the nose it is very clear: Beautiful, voluminous sherry, light vanilla, a little smoke, sweet dark fruit. On the palate, then unfolded a very pleasant, warm feeling, combined with sweet sherry, light smoke and spice. The finish is warm, long lasting, dry. Then oak barrels and slightly peppery spice comes on the tongue. A great whiskey, in which only small amounts to a grand taste sensation. Although I enjoy more than 2cl usually a row, that's when Glendronach different. It provides a full flavor boost, which is more than satisfactory. 2cl rich there for me just fine.
