Paris-Dauphine University when the school is (Paperback)

Customer Review

It is rare to read a political text on the University. In this matter, those who act are the most often in silence, while those who speak the most are often little.
As such, this book is obviously very interesting
So here we have closely intertwined, a presentation of the history and current ambitions of the Paris-Dauphine University, and detail a defense left of the wave of reforms called "autonomy" initiated under the leadership Valérie Pécresse and continued by Geneviève Fioraso.

Laurent Batsch is quite convincing when he defends his political project for the University, and his work at the University of Paris Dauphine, it is much less so when he postulates that the path by which the University can lead to empowerment a backup and a progress of knowledge other than some small islands which is obviously part Dauphine.

It is basically the lot of all utopias that offer nice balance points without specifying how they are achieved. Laurent Batsch has at least the merit to say quite clearly where he wants to go, which makes reading this book interesting.
