Night vision device are not careful binoculars the magnification of 5x what is right (commonly 2 to 4x here no attempt to grow but to see what is not visible ...!) By cons true scope of this type uses a much more efficient image intensifier but also more expensive, this is apparently a miniature camera low light level which allows for night vision (actually twilight!) to lower cost, readable image on a mini monochrome screen (on a real telescope image is readable directly through the lens green or amber logical since there is no light so no color!) the image is very difficult to read when there is no more light, the IR diode arrange things a bit but to its range limit, by cons in case of residual light: twilight, moon, etc. the image is approximately correct, the screen is very small and provided too little defined image (36 lines) the magnification that it must make a new assessment also continuously playing on the diopter and brightness 'screen, however this device is affordable and provided to the naturalist adequate means to monitor such nocturnal and crepuscular mammals and bats coypu my case and all for a pittance, can be used to move it (too much magnification) of Anyway it's not military hardware ... last point attention to legislation the place of use!
