"At the edge of the world amounted to gray clouds crests ..."

Fifth volume of The History of Middle-earth (it is hoped that the following volumes will be translated soon!), This book is just as interesting as the others, tracing the changing world of Tolkien, who reworks his Legendary as a goldsmith.
Note that it contains some poems of the Master, and also a draft of a story "The Lost Road", a sort of time travel on the myth of Atlantis (Numenor Tolkien), a project he had undertaken with CS Lewis, which in turn will do the journey in space (Cosmic trilogy, I: Beyond the silent planet).
All in all, a very good book for both the curious and also the purists!
