Many programs that need large amounts of data, such as navigation systems or the Dictionary of the Duden series offer the option to save this data on the SD card. In "normal" Android devices this data then end up under \ Storage \ sdcard0 \ Program Files directory. When Galaxy Ace 2 this data to land all only in that very small internal memory, as is dangled as SD card. If the program now does not offer the possibility to select the data directory by the user (and do the least), there is no chance.
From selbigem reason it is not possible to move entire applications with App2sd. These land only on the internal SD card.
The only way around the problem is to be found in a modification in the system, however, which means a Rooting the device and therefore the guarantee expires.
Data such as photos and music, or even data from apps that allow free directory choice can of course be stored on the SD card. You have to shimmy through the cryptic directory structure then stop.
Otherwise, the device makes a very reasonable impression as an entry solution.
Worth mentioning is perhaps even more the lack of light sensor and thus the non-existing automatic control of the background light. One must always keep in mind the brightness to waste too much battery power. Not quite up to date, I think. But it seems at Samsung to be strategy because the S3 Mini has also as "solved".
I myself will stay definitely at HTC. For the children there has to be Samsung yes absolutely. Then the Ace 2 goes for just under 200 EUR okay.
Large class is the way the camera. Rarely seen such good cell phone photos.
Short Summary:
+ Camera (really really good)
+ Reasonable display size with very good resolution
- Built-in memory only about 1GB
- Internal "SD card" more 1GB
- External SD card not included Android-compliant and therefore not fully usable, for Navi programs etc. practically useless
- No auto-backlight
