Now for the game. I chose to start with the two factions Macedonia and Rome to play on Hard difficulty.
Pros:
+ A province is not a city but mostly from a big city and several adjoining settlement. Once the entire province is part of a can a decree of bonuses are granted brings. This innovation is the best in the game for me.
+ Armies can only be recruited if they have a General and not as in Rome 1 just like that. The bonus, however, the General learned after time skills which he can use in combat. Other positions he has similar feature adoption. So you can his army sometimes 1-2 rounds can get off to a forced march.
+ The KI adheres to extensive diplomatic alliances and the political system, I find also very good.
Cons:
-The Technology tree is a little too skinny for me not Roman factions
-Not Roman faction especially the Hellenic me fractions simply play all about the same, it lacks the power of 1-2 units and buildings unique to a fraction.
-The AI in battle is sometimes quite thoughtlessly.
