Test conditions: affluent suburbs of Berlin with indoor antenna (external antenna for card recommended)
Function:
DVB-T: Fast Channel Switching, also receives weak stations very well (NTV, Disney Channel ..), as it should be
DVB-T2: channel change more slowly but is fine. Reception of HD test transmitter without problems via access from Windows PC to the possible Tvheadend server. OpenELEC I could not persuade the HEVC streams to be processed properly .. If anyone has tips ..
What must be taken: I have received the version T210 v2. The associated drivers are only from the Linux kernel containing 3:19 (for the original T210 v1 from 3.17). This makes it possible to watch television only with a specially compiled Openelecversion by this v2 Stick! The Stick v1 would be no problem been .. There's a star deduction, because it was not obvious in advance that a version 2 is delivered ..
General: The stick itself is great for the price and met my expectations completely. Too bad that was not apparent which version is delivered. That cost me a few hours of research to find a Openelecversion with the appropriate drivers.
Update 15:02:15: Since OpenELEC 5.0.1 the stick is also natively supported.
