I am for Musical Fidelity Hi Fi equipment used, but if my amp B1 stopped working recently curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to Auna pipe 65. Of course I would return if it's not good to try.
I must say I was very impressed with this amp. Some of the comments here about the tubes are counterfeit hilarious! :) You are ECC83 12AX7 tubes. I swapped the existing Chinese ones for beautiful JJ 12AX7 tubes and the difference in sound was amazing. The bass was deeper and much closer and medium engine speed range has also been improved. So for the pipes do not have much impact on the sound is totally wrong. The tubes are part of the pre-amp stage and, above all, the amplifier has a very warm and full sound.
I held the amplifier and I really like it. It sounds great to me and that's all, as far as I'm concerned one.
