I bought it for my VideoMic Rode Rycote. I made different comparisons on this microphone with the only fur, the only original foam windscreen, without anything, and the two guards at once. My tests are relatively empirical in the sense that the wind was light, as small gusts, so it was not well calibrated conditions. The fur has a certain efficiency yes, but that seems equivalent to the original foam windscreen. Both in terms of wind noise attenuation than treble attenuation. It is therefore a little disappointed because I expected better results. Let's say that if there is the true wind, as there are very often in my region, this fur is largely insufficient. Given the price, stay on a mixed review. But I'm still not ready to test another fur whose price would be about the size of the micro itself, and which I would still not certain in advance of its effectiveness day of mistral
