The only advantage of these fightpads sd compared to the previous generation is that they fit in the palm of the hand (the former are larger) Apart from this detail, everything is worse. The directional pad is imprecise you enter down / right and stores avant-down / right-front, for example (in fact it saves a movement on the back of the pad to the original position ... apparently) just for that, it becomes unfit for the use for any fighting game worthy of the name. It makes a creaking in the 360, suggesting that the coins were summarily cut and remains falls wedged between the elements. The buttons are less sensitive than previous models (maybe it will work out with use but I have little hope), they have almost no return, we have the unpleasant feeling of support on an already pressed button continuously. Last point for the latter: they are much too close to one another. But I'm not a big thumb but I can press the 6 buttons on the front just by putting my thumb on round and triangle and letting it hang from both sides. Only slices buttons are more responsive than previous versions (it was not really difficult at the same time)
Madcatz seems fallen short in this category levers that we keep in a drawer and ascribed to the neighbor when it comes to play ... I'm really disappointed with my purchase and return to my alternating stick / FightPad classic (I think that playing with the same basic playstation joystick is healthier than playing with these levers sd)
Brief advantages: smaller, better buttons slices, no need batteries thanks to wireless cons: everything else
