Not for nothing was awarded the Pulitzer Prize Art Spiegelman has written this comic story in the truest sense of the word history.
In haunting black / white illustrations, it traces the history of his parents, especially his father Vladek.
Up to Auschwitz is the eventual Vladeks, in the extermination camps of National Socialism. Experiences that characterize him and to the pass now.

Insistently, making affected, sad - and yet flashed repeatedly by the Yiddish humor that has probably contributed to the fact that Vladek has survived all this.

"Mouse" is a comic, but who expects funny, is definitely wrong. It is a biography and images have become an indictment of the inhumanity totalitäter regime.
