This lamp is great. Charging by crank take long, and not discharge when the lamp extinguishes (she still walks of months later, she is still operational in fact). This remark is compared to other lamps (solar, and more expensive!) I which discharges itself within hours, what good load suddenly because there's more juice when we want s' use it. There, no worries.
The lighting lantern is not bad (but you better put her at enVert for not taking the LEDs in the figure). 3 LED lamp illuminates VERY powerful beam! The red flash is nice. The USB charging for such (not tested) was part of the purchase arguments for me.
