Endless corridors and uninspired level design here are ancient history. Place large spaces served by backgrounds breathtaking when one must fight arms in hand or vehicles to save a planet on the brink of destruction. The action is ongoing and we are constantly on the lookout for the slightest movement. This is even more true in the higher difficulty modes where artificial intelligence Covenant does wonders.
