I have already gambled as a fan, the 3DS version last year and am in the Xbox360 version now through the first chapter. I play the game on a 167 cm Panasonic and the Dolby Digital EX sound comes through my Denon receiver.
Well what to say? The game has an incredibly dense atmosphere, which is enhanced by the home theater. Thus, the finally there since Resi4 a single player mode, the fear and the horror is intensified and you have here finally that oppressive feeling that I had recently in Resi4 I still look at the highlight of the series.
With my 32 years I have also all Resident Evil titles and changes lived through and played.
The gameplay and control I never found so great at Resi 1-3, but there is nothing like the atmosphere and the puzzles. Therefore, I advocate on remakes of Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica based on the engine and control of part 6 and Revelations.
Resident Evil Revelations is divided into 12 chapters. Much like a TV series, including a rear look of "The Story So Far" in the style of series like Lost, Prison Break, etc.
The game is very reminiscent in its presentation, the Xbox360 exclusive Alan Wake. I recommend anyone appeals the Revelations.
The graphic or graphics update looks very good, but unfortunately we see in some places the game its handheld origins to. (For example, Chapter 1, Dead zombie that falls out of the bay)
The control I find very good and intuitive. Unfortunately, so far I miss the cool laser pointer from Resi4 which makes the targets easier.
The single player mode has to play a game time between 10-12 hours, depending on the difficulty and pace of.
The multiplayer mode or RAID mode is a fun affair and motivated by his responsibilities and the co-op mode.
I think the balance in Revelations very well chosen. Atmospheric single player mode as well as more fun co-op Raid Mode.
To dt. Synchronization is to say that it brings out the very best of the trashy dialogues. Chris has the same speakers are always better as in Part 6. And who says the British video game Synchros, as a German, I recommend Resident Evil 1 (or DS) as there is the full package trash.
The disc is delivered in an Amaray with reversible cover, however, is missing from the cover turning the Xbox logo that looks so good on the shelf.
The booklet, if one may call it that consists of 2 (!) Pages and includes only information for the control.
Conclusion:
Strong buy recommendation for fans of Resident Evil 4 and those that the Leon / Helena and Ada Wong campaign found good in Part 6 or prefer. 5 stars for a Resident Evil, which finally is also consistently again a.
