the book title does not comply with contenu.Si like me you are a beginner in history you will not learn anything about the Capetians; by cons in this book you will discover "the time of the Capetian", ie people's livelihood, the hierarchy of society, religion, Romanesque and Gothic art, all so very detailed but little teaching with many repetitions without interest. All in all 16 pages are devoted to the last 3 Capétiens in a book of over 600 pages. I enjoyed the books of Georges Bordonove the Valois and the Bourbons I turn towards him and other perpetrators to know a little Capetians kings.
