In addition to the heights ergonomics is the second major point of criticism: The XB41 are very large and can be brought in my ears with a lot of pushing and pulling in the correct position, press and release again from the ears. Of course, this may be due to my ear shape, but also in direct comparison with other in-ears (Beyerdynamic DTX101iE and Wavemaster Pure) are almost twice as large and also weigh a lot more - after prolonged listening to music, it's a relief the plugs from the ears take. My brother they fit better, but in movement they dissolve well with him.
Really I have to praise Sony for accessories and processing: with 7 pairs of ear cushions, of which 3 are with extra foam insulation, a solid bag and a clip. The flat cable can be rolled up easily, as round and the connector is angled - everything makes a very stable impression and is well crafted and sensitive for cable break points are reinforced.
Ultimately I can XB41 but (with big ears) only recommended for beginners, listening mainly "Disco Mucke" and for mainly looking for a powerful bass. For other styles of music and high standards (in particular as regards the heights) are not suitable. Who can drauflegen yet 20 and want, which is in my opinion better off with the Beyerdynamic above.
I tested on an iPod Touch 3G and MP3 / AAC with at least 256kbits / s.
