I bought this set to replace the built-in speakers of my TV that squealed and vibrated, having no room for a true home theater, I am not disappointed! I found a compact and powerful solution to the time which in my opinion has nothing to envy to Home Theater 2.1 entry (usually more expensive!). The subwoofer allows input via 3.5mm jack or RCA (for connection of two devices without having to undo connections). In addition, the right speaker includes a 3.5mm input for quickly connecting an MP3 player without a computer, and a jack (3.5mm also) to connect headphones. The volume setting (on the right speaker) is flexible and globally control the volume of the satellites and the subwoofer, but it can also be mitigated through its own knob on the rear. The wire connecting the two loudspeakers is amply long enough to space them from each side of the largest televisions. The satellites each have a vent at the front and a second speaker to the back for its "3D" which (without replacing a quadraphonic or surround system) really filled the room for a better quality regardless of the orientation or the listening position.
Only downside, the subwoofer overflows so much power that quickly buries everything. Consider the subwoofer setting on 2/10 for a good sound (no stress so it's quite manageable!).
I love, I am considering buying a second set for my computer this time I do not see anything better at this price in the market currently.
