In the product description and in the German Manual (more like a leaflet) is by 2 AAA batteries the speech, but this device uses a (enclosed) button battery. In the original pattern also enclosed this is correctly described. However, the German manual and the product description also appears to be a total different model for a whole, for example, is also of the arrow keys speech, which does not have this device.

Whatever you should still be aware, there is no off switch, you have to take out the battery and leave the tray open.
