Battery Grip for Canon EOS 450D

Looking for a battery grip for my Canon EOS 450D, I came across this property. Customer Reviews trusting I chose this battery grip.
I can give the positive reviews described in full right and confirm the positive characteristics.

- Improve the operation, especially in portrait photography
- Better handling when using longer focal lengths
- Additional control buttons (which can be switched off at BG)
- Enormously increased battery capacity (are now being expected 2 batteries)
- Additional slot for LR6 or AA batteries or rechargeable batteries

The BG fits perfectly on the Canon EOS 450D, because nothing wobbles, as there are no protruding corners or edges. Also true color of BG match the camera.
The BG has an overall very high-quality impression, which is complemented by a pleasant feel. The additional control buttons are easy to reach and represent a real added value.

At the moment I can not of course make any statement about the batteries.
But since this bundle leaves a positive impression, I'm quite confident when it comes to batteries. (Last forever doing ere no)

To mention there's that one should stick to the instructions, ie:
build only charge the batteries, the battery in the holder, then the off (!) BG to the switched-off (!) camera, then turn it on! Otherwise, the charge indicator does not the camera display.

Important! The supplied remote control only works if the camera has been switched in by "frame" on "remote switch / remote control"! Only then the built-in camera IR sensor is ready for operation and the camera responds to the remote control.

In all positive features but you have to always "keep in mind":

- Yes, the camera becomes larger in housing
- The camera becomes more difficult,
- BG requires space in the camera bag

The latter seems trite, but nevertheless must be considered, because when using the BGs the matter with a holster has mostly done - which is probably too small.

All in all, this is a great offer, which is qualitatively equal to the original, but only a fraction of the original cost.
For this battery grip I can express a clear recommendation!
