The projector is quite bar during the turn, but moves as soon as the image appears within a few seconds the fan to the highest possible level high. As a result, a lecture would be disturbed by the device bulky. The fan noise reaches almost to the soundscape CONSULT AN APPROPRIATE hand vacuum cleaner. The volume is not at 26 to 30 dB - 56 dB but with almost twice as high - measured at 1 meter distance!
For the presentation for the device was intended it is absolutely inappropriate. For use in the living room it is from 5 to 6 meters still very unpleasant loud and annoying.
Either one of the famous Monday device was sent to me or the device is not used meaningfully.
I want to comment briefly on the still image quality and the connections / menu navigation:
The picture is good - compared to my old unit very well. Focusing works, menu is straightforward - the Eco Mode works for me probably not (no fan control, no image difference) - therefore no judgment to do so. HDMI port detects problems all previously connected devices - VGA ports also without complaint.
If the fan noise would not I would have awarded 5 stars for a good, practical projector - at a very good price. Unfortunately, my unit will probably go for repairing or directly back to Amazon.
