As a brief summary can be said that this has probably saved the HDMI interface and I would not recommend this projector.
But now to my experiences with this projector. Delivery by Amazon went smoothly here.
The connection and attachment to the ceiling bracket (My Wall H16-1WL
) Were also possible without problem
I then initially given the signal of a Sony Blu-ray player directly to the projector.
It takes about 10 seconds until the HDMI signal had caught. However, the built-in speakers of the projector for the cinema experience because he low volume and the fan noise rather not geeignet.Der Beamer was joined by about 5 meters long high-quality HDMI cable to the receiver. When connecting the Blu-Ray player to the normal (non-4K connections) of the receiver, it can last from 5 minutes to the HDMI handshake clean sits and an image can be seen. Then have the Blu-Ray player plugged into the 4K HDMI connection of the receiver. Here comes the image immediately. Once a Blu-Ray is inlaying the picture but disappears and there is only then when the Blu-ray menu. After the start of the film it takes then so until about 30 seconds to a picture. Now I have tried several shorter, longer, cheaper, more expensive HDMI cable. All with the same result. It could therefore be on the receiver or at BenQ. I then first the BenQ replaced by Acer H6520BD.
The picture quality is the same for both projectors approximately. The Acer acts subjectively but a little quieter. The frequencies of the ventilation (fan and air outlet) seem to be here a little deeper and be perceived by us as a not so disturbing.
The HDMI handshake worked here already much better, but unfortunately still not perfect. KO criterion was here, however, that in an interconnected receiver no 3D output through the projector was possible. I then ordered me a Yamaha receiver. With the Acer Yamaha had no problems and everything went flawlessly. I then tried the BenQ with Yamha. The BenQ showed here although somewhat better performance but unfortunately the HDMI handshake worked only sporadically directly right away.
RBE effects none of us could recognize neither the BenQ still at Acer.
I have the BenQ and the Denon then returned again and am happy with the Acer and the Yamaha and happy now.
