Like Stanley Kubrick or Jacques Tati, George Miller, and this from the first "Mad Max" (1979), used the soundtracks of his films as tools in their own right as important as images, not limiting them to a simple illustration. The soundtracks of the first two installment in the saga, composed by Brian May (warning: it is not the Queen guitarist), both rugged, martial and melancholic, managed to brilliantly accentuate the effects caused by images ... In 1985, the partition of Maurice Jarre (the father of Jean-Michel) portrayed the world of Baroque Bartertown; however, and as "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome", it was less successful than previous ... For this new film (beware, it's not a "Mad Max 4", but a reboot), George Miller has chosen to work with Tom Holkenborg, specialist electronic music. The DJ is able to provide a score and damned effective in line with the film: fast paced, baroque, martial and melancholy, reviving the spirit of the soundtrack of Brian May, while providing a more modern touch. Without a doubt, and as the film itself, this soundtrack will stand as it turns out inventive and hallucinated. The great job and a must have for all fans of road warrior.
