The Café Gourmet series of Philips's always been something special, but looks are only one third of the rent, the rest are functionality and taste.

When functionality Philips has unfortunately somewhat geschlunzt, because no longer produced Philips HD 5410/00 was then (2007) better.

The design is now more compact, resulting in that the handling is no longer so good. Who tested it? Contortionists from an acrobatic circus?

The use and the coffee filter-holder seem to be breaking points with the time, because as well made as previously the hinges are no longer.
A rogue who then on "Planned Obsolescence" thinks.

In addition, the need brew a full pot with 12 cups, small cups, a mere 11 minutes. So nothing for people who like it even affected.

The machine is just more for connoisseurs, because if the bubbly boiling water slowly flows through the ground coffee, more flavors are more freigesezt. Everyone has to find the right course for themselves the type of coffee.

CONCLUSION: Good coffee taste, unusual but inaccessible design that makes handling difficult and vs. a decline in the processing. Previous model. That makes 2 star deduction.
